We serve Lunch and Dinner daily as well as cater to all of life’s special events both on and off premises. Our extensive facilities provide us with the ability to host a broad range of events from intimate dining for 2 to grand weddings and special events for up to 200 guests. Services

The Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant & Ballroom is your local restaurant and caterer that has been family owned and operated since 1978.

The Restaurant, known as the Grill Room, serves lunch and dinner daily in a comfortable, yet refined atmosphere. House specialties include juicy steaks, thick chops, fresh seafood, and flavorful pastas, as well as our famous soup and salad bar.

The ballroom and gardens serve as a great place to celebrate all of life’s special events and occasions. The events hosted here range from weddings, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16’s, quinceaneras, birthdays, baptisms, and communions, to holiday parties, trade shows, business meetings, reunions, seminars, and golf outings.

The off-premises catering division, know as Parties-to-Go, specializes in catering to your needs, whether business or social, at a location of your choosing. This is great for events that do not require use of our space or need to be held at a specific location for other reasons.

Our Team

George Liaskos President / Owner

As owner of the Cortlandt Colonial since 1978 and patriarch of the Liaskos family, George still oversees overall operations as well as major projects at the Cortlandt Colonial. George also owns the Holiday Inn Express in Peekskill, NY. 

Evan Liaskos Executive Chef / Director of Operations

As a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Evan oversees daily operations of the kitchen as well as all special events in both the restaurant and ballroom. With experiences which started with working as a young boy at the Cortlandt Colonial in many positions throughout the business and then stepping up to working in award winning establishments throughout the country, Evan can custom design a special menu sure to suit your tastes. Irene Liaskos Dining Room Manager

A graduate of the school of hospitality management of the University of New Haven, Irene can be found overseeing the restaurant’s Dining Room ensuring guest satisfaction. When she is not busy in the restaurant, she can be found in helping with overall banquet and special event operations.
